We don’t have a sign-up for this drive.  We will be leaving Buehler’s River Styx located at 3626 Medina Rd in Medina (click for directions)  at 5:15pm sharp.  Hope to see you soon.

Ice Cream Social & Jazz Band Concert, Sunday, 8/15/21

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

TIME:  6:30 PM Ice Cream served – Concert to follow

LOCATION:        Parma Heights Baptist Church, Cross of Hope Pavilion, 8971 West Ridgewood Dr., Parma Heights, OH  (across from the Shoppes at Parma) (Click for map)

Two of our Northcoast Miata Club members are fired up about FREE Ice cream and jazz music.  So, in a very kind gesture, Tim Hunsicker and Ron Nelson, who are both members of the Parma Heights Baptist Church, have invited our club members to a free evening of ice cream and music.  The only requirement is that you bring your own comfy chair to enjoy this outdoor event.  As Tim and Ron need to plan for the number of people to expect, members are asked to register by 8/6/21.  There will be a sign-up sheet at the July meeting, or you may sign up by E-mail or call Daniel Splichal and leaving a message at 701-330-5631.

Take care & safe travels,

Daniel Splichal,

“Miataville” car show 8/7/21

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

DATE:  Saturday, August 7, 2021         (rain date: August 14)

TIME:  1 PM – 4 PM

LOCATION:      Smithville Mennonite Church parking lot, 6097 Akron Rd., Smithville (Miataville), OH  44677 (click for map)

Local Pastor, Todd Martin, is crazy about Miatas – in fact, he owns two (1990 & 2001) and would like to fill his church parking lot with as many MX-5’s as possible.  He has invited all the members of our club to his historic village to meet and greet with other Miata enthusiasts for an afternoon roadster gathering.  No sermons will be preached that afternoon, he told us – he’s saving his homily for Sunday . . .

Free ice cream will be provided by church volunteers, along with water, and there are restrooms available.  All Northcoast Miata members are invited – come alone, with a friend, or in a group.  The price of admission is your shiny Miata parked in the church parking lot for all to admire.  We are grateful for this kind invitation.  See you in Miataville on 08/07/21 at 1:00 PM . . .

Pastor Martin needs to plan for the number of people to expect, so members are asked to register by entering their name on a sign-up sheet at the June or July meeting, or by emailing me or by calling and leaving a message to 701-330-5631.  Pastor Martin asks for a reply by 07/31/21.

Take care & safe travels,

Daniel Splichal
