AUTOCROSS INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE!!!!!!

Newbie Autocross Coach…..  Rich Velardo

If you think that you just might want to give autocross a try, but you’ve held back because of all the uncertainties that face a newbie, all that you need to do is ask Rich Velardo (Click to email).    Since Rich is “grounded” for the next few months with a repeat shoulder surgery and cannot drive on an autocross course, he is volunteering to help others get started in autocross.

Rich can help with your arrival, tech inspection, sign in, walking the track, generally help you through the whole process of getting started.  He also has a loaner helmet that you can borrow and will be your own personal coach to walk you through everything and even ride along with you on the course. In short, you’ll get everything that you need to do your first autocross – including even printing your car numbers & class letters for you if need be.  All you need is your car and the desire to have fun learning what you and your car can do.
Just let Rich know which event you’d like to try.

Book Club & dinner Friday, May 10th, 2019

Hosts:  Charlie & Marlene Rodgers
6 PM

Join us for a lively discussion about the book Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. The event will be held at Charlie and Marlene Rodgers home at 11812 Edgerton Rd,  North Royalton (click for directions).  A light dinner will be shared to set the mood of the story. Reserve a spot in this informal book discussion email  or call 440-539-0998.
Copies of the book, CD book or e-book may be obtained through the Cuyahoga County Public Library. The classic book was published in 1719.
Robinson Crusoe tells the story as if writing a journal of his adventures. Even though his parents disapprove, Crusoe takes a ship to London on September 1, 1651. Crusoe finds success and misfortune on the sea. He becomes a slave, establishes a plantation in Brazil, and then spends almost 30 years as a solitary inhabitant on a tropical island. Crusoe saves a native from cannibalistic savages, hence Friday becomes his faithful companion during the latter years. He finally escapes the island and returns to England where he raises a family and experiences further adventures.
