The Reformatory (click for website) was built in 1834 and housed prisoners until 1990. It is noted for its German architecture, its infamous haunted history and filming location of the movie, ” Shawshank Redemption”. The Ohio Caverns, discovered by locals in 1887, is known as “America’s most colorful caverns” and one of Ohio’s outstanding natural attractions (click for website). There will be special group rates for the Reformatory and Caverns as well as the motel. Specific details will be given to those confirmed tour participants.
