Rallyemasters:   Ava Singerman & Bob Palmer

It’s RALLYE TIME!! For those of you that love to drive your cars, choose to live in Northeast Ohio and enjoy socializing with others just like you, this is the best of all times.

On Saturday, September 7th, plan to gather near Edgewater Beach at the parking lot off Rt. 2 and the north dead end of West Blvd. At 11:00 a.m., Rallyemasters Bob Palmer and Ava Singerman will explain the rules that guide you on a 3-hour tour of both our beautiful Lake Erie shore and our dazzling green Emerald necklace park system.

At 11:30 a.m. each car will begin its drive leaving in 2-minute increments. Along the way you and your navigator will discover the answers to numerous questions as you get closer and closer to the final and delectable finish line.

Once you have arrived at your restaurant destination, you will park your cars in the paddock area, turn in your answer sheets and be greeted by your friends and the photo gallery of the correct Rallye answers so any disagreements can be settled!

A wonderful menu is available from which to choose your early dinner and, once all participants have arrived, the Rallyemasters will complete the scoring and award trophies & delightful prizes to the top 3 finishing teams.

AUTOCROSS INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE!!!!!!

Newbie Autocross Coach…..  Rich Velardo

If you think that you just might want to give autocross a try, but you’ve held back because of all the uncertainties that face a newbie, all that you need to do is ask Rich Velardo (Click to email).    Since Rich is “grounded” for the next few months with a repeat shoulder surgery and cannot drive on an autocross course, he is volunteering to help others get started in autocross.

Rich can help with your arrival, tech inspection, sign in, walking the track, generally help you through the whole process of getting started.  He also has a loaner helmet that you can borrow and will be your own personal coach to walk you through everything and even ride along with you on the course. In short, you’ll get everything that you need to do your first autocross – including even printing your car numbers & class letters for you if need be.  All you need is your car and the desire to have fun learning what you and your car can do.
Just let Rich know which event you’d like to try.
